Korda Networks is the lifeline of Iceland’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure.
Korda Networks operates a high-capacity network built for the demands for carriers and international data center customers, content providers and cloud service providers.
The company owns and operates the submarine cables FARICE-1, DANICE and ÍRIS. Korda has begun preparations for the new subsea cable AUÐUR, that will be laid between southern Iceland and Scotland and is expected to enter service in 2030.
Green and reliable

Critical telecommunications
Korda Networks was formed by merging the International Carrier Farice with the Critical Communication operations of Neyðarlínan (112 Iceland). Öryggisfjarskipti, owner of critical communications infrastructure in Iceland, is a subsidiary of Korda Networks.
Korda Networks provides services over telecommunication infrastructure that connects Iceland to the rest of the world, supports critical communications within Iceland and provides the technical operational services for Iceland’s critical response services that Iceland depends on around the clock.
